OVERVIEW
Challenge
The smart anti-snoring pillow 'Motion Pillow' was technically excellent, but only 30.5% of users actually felt improvement. Review analysis revealed 43.4% mentioned sleep apnea—an expanded need beyond simple snoring. Users trusted subjective feelings over objective data, creating a trust gap.
Goal
Integrate core sleep health metrics including oxygen saturation data for sleep apnea users
Enable subjective condition recording through 'Sleep Memo' feature
Transform from monitoring tool to comprehensive sleep care service with pre/post sleep features
Redesign information architecture for reduced cognitive load and faster comprehension
Result
CES 2024 Best of Innovation Award (Smart Home category), 2x increase in sales consultations (67 cases, 3 contracts)
